The massive next-gen update to popular western PvPvE game Hunt: Showdown is just around the corner, and if you’ve been looking for a way to finally escape the bayou, you can now trade the swampy landscape for the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
The first map, which you can check out in the trailer below, is called Mammon’s Gulch and brings a lot more verticality to this new mountainous biome. The map will launch on August 15th and will bring with it a whole host of next-gen changes.
According to Press release Crytek plans for this to be a completely new experience for players. Expect revamped graphics, richer audio, and more, and it will be part of a free update for players. Unfortunately, for players on last-gen consoles, Cryengine 5.11 means they won’t be able to access the original game after August 15th.
