A modder under the pseudonym ZealotTormunds has announced the development of a mod that adds a modern third-person camera to Silent Hill 3.
There is currently no exact release date for this mod, but the creator is definitely planning to release it after the release of a similar mod for Silent Hill 4: The Room, which he is also working on and which he says will be released “very soon.” If you are interested in what Silent Hill 3 looks like with an over-the-shoulder camera, you can check out the demo below:
Silent Hill 3 was released on May 23, 2003 on PlayStation 2 and on November 7 of the same year on PC. In 2012, the game received a remaster for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. Last year, the game also received unofficial professional Russian voice acting from GamesVoice studio.
