The creators of the trilogy “The Last Knight” presented debut teaser for the sequel series called “The Last Knight. Legacy”.
The show, which took four years to complete, will consist of eight episodes, each one an hour long. The story will tell how the residents of Belogorye will confront a new evil.
According to the plot, Ivan (Viktor Khorinyak) is 50 years old and already has two daughters – Marya (Arina Rozhkova) and Sophia (Evelina Mazurina). However, the heroes’ quiet life is interrupted when the settlement is visited by the sorcerer Severin (Alexander Ustyugov).
His terrible visions suggest that Belogorye is in grave danger. So Sophia goes to modern Moscow, while Marya fights evil forces in the magical world.
According to director Anton Maslov, the creators essentially shot four full-length films in the format of a series. And in some episodes, computer graphics are present on the screen 80% of the time
The series will also feature: Elena Yakovleva, Vladislav Vetrov, Kirill Zaitsev, Sergey Burunov and Garik Kharlamov. Among the “newcomers” are Alexandra Ursulyak, Dmitry Lysenkov, Yulia Peresild, Nikita Kologrivy and so on.
The premiere of the new product is scheduled for this fall.
In addition, a prequel to the series called “Finist. The First Bogatyr” is currently in development; the film will premiere in cinemas on January 1, 2025.
The plot will tell about Finist’s (Kirill Zaitsev) journey to distant eastern lands. Dmitry Dyachenko (Cheburashka) is responsible for the production of the film.
