Riot Games announcedthat Xbox and PlayStation console owners will no longer need invitation codes to get acquainted with the free-to-play online shooter Valorant. The start of the open beta allows you to download the game and plunge into deadly battles.
Valorant on consoles supports cross-play, but only between Xbox and PlayStation. Console players will not be able to meet in matches with PC owners. However, all the content released on PC is available on consoles, “without compromise.”
Riot Games said that they tested a variety of control variations on gamepads. As a result, they added a special shooting mode called Focus to the game. It was created based on the Hip-Fire for keyboard and mouse, but differs from it in sensitivity.
Valorant is free for everyone to play, but Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will have access to all future expansions and can unlock all heroes at once.
The release date for the console version is still unknown, but Valorant was released on PC in June 2020.
