Fighting Mortal Kombat 1 will get animality — unusual versions of fatalities involving various animals. Animalities have not been in the Mortal Kombat series for a long time: the last time they could be seen was in Mortal Kombat 3.
The developers announced the animalities at the same time as the announcement of the Khaos Reigns add-on. So far, only a few animalities have been demonstrated: with a hyena, a huge scorpion and praying mantis, a hippopotamus, and even a needlefish.
Each animality is tied to a specific character. For example, Rain turns into a needlefish, and guess who turns into a scorpion.
Animalities will appear in Mortal Kombat 1 on September 24, simultaneously with the release of the Khaos Reigns add-on. Animalities are promised to be added to every character in the game.
