Showtime brought two Dexter Morgans to San Diego Comic-Con, and for good reason: the program included more than just the opening credits of the prequel Original Sin starring Patrick Gibson (Shadow and Bone, The Bureau of Magical Services).
The actor met Michael C. Hall in person for the first time, before that they communicated via Zoom. As it turned out, Hall will not only become the inner voice of a younger version of his character, but will also take up his old ways: filming of the sequel to “The New Blood” — the series “Dexter: Resurrection” — will begin in January.
The premiere date of “Original Sin” has not been announced, but “Resurrection” will happen next summer.
