20th Century Studios and Disney put on a little facehugger action at San Diego Comic-Con and unveiled new footage from the horror film Alien: Romulus, including footage of the alien parasite.
The film by Federico Alvarez and Rodo Sayagues (Evil Dead, Don’t Breathe) will take fans of the cult franchise back to its roots, both in terms of chronology and in terms of that very atmosphere. The main roles are played by Cailee Spaeny (Priscilla, Mare of Easttown), Isabela Merced (Madame Web) and Archie Renaud (Shadow and Bone).
Alien: Romulus will be released outside of Russia on August 16.
