Another spin-off of Game of Thrones is also getting closer and closer. Can the Netflix production The Witcher even keep up? An important change in season 4 is set to fascinate fans again.
When does season 4 of The Witcher start?
Filming for the fourth season of The Witcher is currently in full swing. Pictures from the set keep cropping up and causing heated discussions among fans. The same applies to the first scenes of the new Geralt actor Liam Hemsworth, who has to step into the gigantic shoes of Henry Cavill. In the past few weeks he has had to endure a lot of malice and ridicule, which even prompted a passionate appeal from his colleague.
Some scenes from the new episodes have already been shot, but filming is far from over. Fans should therefore not expect the start of season 4 of The Witcher before 2025. It is quite conceivable that the next chapter will be available on the streaming service Netflix next summer. Then not only with new Hollywood stars, but also with a changed Ciri.
Will Ciri look so different in season 4?
A few weeks ago, a picture from the filming of season 4 of The Witcher surfaced, showing actress Freya Allan in her signature role as Ciri. Even then, it was clear that Geralt’s protégé had changed a bit, at least in terms of appearance. It starts with a new haircut and doesn’t end with a striking rose tattoo. The actress seems to really like the new look and it really inspires her.
“The minute I had this new costume, new hair and makeup, it felt like a different Ciri. It’s so much fun. We’ve never seen her like this before. I’m excited for people to see what’s going to happen. It’s great fun.”
