There was a surprise appearance at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. The traditional Olympic torch relay was carried by a character known to gaming fans. This year, the honor went to the “Assassin’s Creed Unity” protagonist ‘Arno Dorian’:
In the run-up to the event, there were several hints and teasers about the event. For example, a fan account posted Shared sketches showing a parkour of the character. As well as Ubisoft as well as the Twitter-Account von “Assassin’s Creed” tweeted mysterious announcements shortly before the action, which then was confirmed by the Olympic Games account.
