Holmgard Games studio has released its hardcore extraction shooter Project L33T in early access. This event went almost unnoticed by players, as the developers announced it only within their discord server. There is no news about this event on either the official website or the page in Steam and the game’s YouTube channel.
Ultimately, this affected user interest: the peak online on Steam was only 185 people. Early access started on July 25, 2024, and at the time of writing, the game has collected 99 reviews, 61% of which are positive. However, if we take the statistics among players who bought the game directly through Steam, the situation is even worse – 38% of positive reviews out of 36 left.
Among the negative reviews, players mention the artificial intelligence of bots, the presence of only one map, and a lot of technical problems. In some reviews, you can find comparisons with Escape from Tarkov and the scandalous The Day Before. And these comparisons are not always in favor of Project L33T.
Project L33T is a PvPvE extraction first-person shooter inspired by Escape from Tarkov. Players will have to go on forays into anomalous zones in search of valuable artifacts that appeared due to the influence of aliens. You can take part in matches alone or as part of a team, which can consist of other players and NPC companions.
