At San Diego Comic-Con International, news was announced that the comic book BRZRKR: The Immortal Saga, co-written by Keanu Reeves, will be getting an animated adaptation. The series will be written by Terminator Zero writer Mattson Tomlin, who is currently putting together a team for the production.
The animation studio for this anime will be Production IG. It is stated that two seasons of the series are currently planned for production, which will be launched this coming fall. The original announcement of the BRZRKR anime, by the way, was made back in 2022, but since then nothing has been heard about it at all.
The rights to the original BRZRKR comic are currently owned by Netflix.
