Sci-fi city-building strategy Scorchlands has reached release after a year in Steam Early Access. And to celebrate, its creators from Ringlab and Star Drifters announced about a generous discount: until August 8, you can buy the game for half price, for only 230 rubles.
On Steam, Scorchlands receives very positive reviews, with 95% of buyers recommending it. And the updated demo version allows you to get acquainted with the main mechanics and decide whether to buy it. The developers note that 90% of the players’ ideas and suggestions made it into the release version.
Scorchlands is a strategy game in which players will learn the story of the bird people who have always dreamed of exploring space. Despite numerous obstacles, the brave birds set off on a research expedition to the moon Helia, and now they will use technology and magic to transform the barren surface into meadows, forests, lakes and vibrant settlements.
With each subsequent step and each new settlement built, terraforming in the game becomes more complex and the gameplay more demanding. Players will have to discover new technologies and carefully approach the logistics of resources in order to cope with the task.
