The metal festival returns to the world of “World of Tanks”. This year, two veterans of the scene are coming into the game with new tanks, commanders and lots of metal and rock ‘n’ roll.
A metal festival took place in “World of Tanks” in the summer of 2023. The event included collaborations with Sabaton, Megadeth and Iron Maiden. Each band received their own tanks with a unique design. Challenges with themed designs and commanders based on band members or mascots were added. Of course, there was also appropriate background music. Anyone who had the bands’ tanks in their garage could hear selected songs from the bands there.
The metal festival will return in 2024. So far, two bands have been confirmed to appear in “World of Tanks”. In addition to Rob Zombie, Motörhead and the late Lemmy Kilmister will also return in digital form. In addition, the content from last year will be available again for a short time. So if you missed it, you now have a second chance.

The most important thing in “World of Tanks” are of course the themed tanks that are part of the event. Fans of Motörhead can get their hands on the “Thunder Chief Object 452K” here. There is also a “Bomber” skin for the FV107 Scimitar.
The band members will be integrated as 2D commanders. Alongside Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee, Lemmy Kilmister, who died in 2015, will also take to the digital stage. The “We are Motörhead and we play rock’n’roll” legend will make a double appearance. Lemmy will also be available as a 3D commander. The band’s mascot, Warpig, will also support players as a 3D commander.

In addition to music, shock rocker and frontman of the band of the same name Rob Zombie is also active as a director. In addition to more than 20 metal albums, he has directed twelve films, mostly from the horror genre. Now Rob Zombie is entering the playing field of “World of Tanks”.
The “Dragula T-55AGM” tank is named after the band’s most famous song. The skin for the M53/55 is “Superbeast”. The only commander content is “Rob Zombie” himself in 2D and 3D.
