Asus has officially unveiled the ProArt P16, ProArt PX13, and Zenbook S16 laptops based on AMD’s powerful Zen 5 processors — Ryzen AI 300. These chips feature an integrated AI coprocessor (NPU) with performance of up to 50 TOPS (trillion operations per second). The announced laptops are aimed at digital content creators and gamers, and their retail price will start at $1,399.
The ProArt P16 laptop features a 16-inch display with high contrast and 4K resolution support. It uses a 10-bit matrix with a peak brightness of 500 cd/m², HDR support, and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. You can use a stylus to interact with the screen (the panel supports 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity).
The hardware basis of the new product is the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor (12 Zen 5 cores, 24 threads, operating frequency of 5.1 GHz) with integrated AMD Radeon 890M graphics, up to 64 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a solid-state drive with a capacity of up to 2 TB. In addition, there is a discrete Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 accelerator with 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory.
The laptop is aimed at content creators and can be used for video editing and 2D/3D rendering. The design includes USB Type-A, two USB Type-C, HDMI 2.1, a micro-SD card reader, and a 3.5 mm headset jack. The power source is a 90 Wh battery. The retail price of the ProArt P16 starts at $1,900.
The ProArt PX13 is a more compact version of the ProArt P16. It uses the same Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor paired with a GeForce RTX 4070 graphics accelerator with 8 GB of video memory. In the maximum configuration, the device is equipped with 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 2 TB solid-state drive. It also has USB Type-A ports, two USB Type-C ports, HDMI 2.1, a Micro-SD 4.0 card reader, and a headset jack. Autonomy is provided by a 73 Wh battery.
The ProArt PX13 features a 13.3-inch OLED display with 3K resolution support. The design of the laptop allows the top and bottom covers to be folded, turning the laptop into a tablet. The compact size and design features make the laptop a good option for people who travel frequently. As for the price, the retail price of the ProArt PX13 starts at $1,700.
Another new product is the Zenbook S16 laptop, which is available in versions with Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 or Ryzen AI 9 365 processors. The first case provides performance at the level of 81 TOPS, and the second – 73 TOPS. Regardless of the selected option, the integrated Radeon 890M accelerator is used to process graphics. In the maximum configuration, the device is equipped with 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1 TB solid-state drive.
Zenbook S16 received from the developers a 16-inch OLED display with support for 3K resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The audio subsystem includes six speakers. The laptop is equipped with the same connectors as the ProArt 916 and PX13, and the power source is a 78 Wh battery. The retail price of Zenbook S16 starts at $ 1,399.
