And this year there was no shortage of cosplay from the Harry Potter universe.
At the end of July, the Astana Comic Con festival took place in the Kazakh city of Astana. It was attended not only by fans of comics, video games and films, but also by the main attraction of any festival of this kind – cosplayers.
In order to attract as many talented cosplayers as possible, the festival organizers announced a competition for the best cosplay with a prize fund of 12 million tenge (more than 2 million rubles).
This time we went to the festival ourselves and tried to capture the most interesting images. As usual, there were characters from Harry Potter, but space marines from Helldivers 2, released in 2024, were also spotted.
A total of 140 cosplayers from many countries, including Russia, Thailand, Great Britain and China, took part in the competition.
