A new trademark filing suggests that the second Starfield expansion could be called “Starborn.” First spotted by Twitter user Timur222, the new trademark was filed on July 12, 2024, and registered by ZeniMax Media Inc.
For context, the Starborn refers to a group of people who have undergone the Unity, allowing them to travel between universes. In the game’s story, they reveal themselves to the Constellation after the Spacewalker collects enough Artifacts.
There is no indication of when Starborn will be released, as players are still waiting for a specific release date for Starfield’s first DLC, Shattered Space. Shattered Space was originally revealed before Starfield’s release and is included in the Premium Edition of the game.
At the very least, it seems like the Starborn DLC will be out in 2025 at the earliest.
