During The Behemoth’s press conference, the company announced new DLC for Castle Crashers, the 2008 co-op beat ’em up (which received a remaster for PS4 and Nintendo Switch in 2019). Painter Boss Paradise has no release date yet, but it will be coming to Steam.
The new DLC includes a new character, Paint Junior, who can manifest “powerful art” to defeat enemies, as well as new art for all playable characters and their weapons. The latter gives the models a more modern look, although it can be turned off.
Perhaps the most significant addition, however, is the Steam Workshop integration and the ability to create knight skins that can be shared with other players, taking customization to a whole new level.
Stay tuned for more information on the Painter Boss Paradise release date in the coming months. Castle Crashers is available for Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. About
