Keen Games Studio has released a major update v.0.7.3.0 called Back to the Shroud for the survival simulator Enshrouded, which is in early access. It added difficulty levels to the game, allowing players to customize the process for themselves. There are five of them:
Default – Basic difficulty, recommended for beginners. Relaxed – Reduces the number of enemies, and gives you more resources and loot. Suitable for those who are most interested in base building and easy adventures. Hard – Increases the number of enemies and makes them more aggressive to provide you with a more challenging combat experience. Survival – Designed for those looking for punishment with additional survival mechanics such as hunger and loss of all items on death, as well as more aggressive enemies. Custom – Each preset can be freely modified. In total, 30 different settings are available for customization.
The developers have also made many other changes to Enshrouded. Players can now display equipment items at the base. Additional customization options have been added. Balance has been improved in many aspects of gameplay. The combat system has been improved. Bugs have been fixed. You can read the full patch notes at pages games on Steam.
