As the developers at Dragami Games announced last month, “Lollipop Chainsaw,” originally released in 2012, will make its comeback next month.
So far, “Lollipop Chainsaw: RePOP”, the name of the remaster, has only been announced for the PC and the current consoles. After the question of a PS4 version came up again and again in the past, the responsible game designer Yoshimi Yasuda spoke out via X (formerly: Twitter).
In his tweet Yasuda pointed out that Dragami Games has heard the community’s wishes and wants to fulfill them. However, Yasuda did not give a date for a PS4 version. Instead, the game director asked the community to be patient until the studio’s schedule has been finalized.

“Since the official announcement of RePOP, we have received many requests from players to release the game on PS4. We want to accommodate players’ requests. Please wait for an announcement once the schedule is finalized,” said the game director’s official statement.
In 2022, “Lollipop Chainsaw: RePOP” was initially announced in the form of a remake. After fans expressed their fears that the original gaming experience might change too much in a remake, the developers took the feedback into account and decided to step away from their remake plans in favor of a remaster.
