Social network Instagram✴ expanded the capabilities of the Notes feature — short status messages that disappear over time — they will appear on posts in the main posts feed and on short videos in the Reels section.
Now Instagram users✴ can leave “Notes” on Reels and Grid posts, which will appear right on top of the main content in small “bubbles.” Like other “Notes,” these comments are temporary — they disappear after three days unless manually deleted sooner. They’re also somewhat private — you can choose who sees them: your close friends or mutual followers. You can also tag other users in “Notes” on Reels and main posts — essentially a hidden comment for a limited audience.
When users see Notes from others in Reels and posts, they appear as stickers on top of the content — a unique way to communicate privately on Instagram.✴ along with personal correspondence. Viewing partially private posts from friends on the platform can be useful on the one hand, although some may be bothered by the possibility that they will not see everything that others write. It is also possible that individual Instagram users✴ will abuse this function. However, no one forces you to use the new feature – “Notes” can be turned off in the settings, the social network administration reported. “Notes” for publications and Reels have already begun to appear for Instagram users✴ Worldwide.
