Comprehensive The Sims 4 base game update brings romantic borders, curved pools and more content.
EA and Maxis today announced a comprehensive and free base game update for The Sims 4, available now.
The base game update not only introduces new objects for Build Mode—including the community-requested curved pools—but also a new romantic boundaries system in Create a Sim. Thanks to the new system, players can now individually set their Sims’ preferences for physical and non-physical interactions and flirtations, as well as other gameplay features and improvements.
The update also includes a new Locs hairstyle developed in collaboration with Dark & Lovely, reinforcing The Sims’ commitment to releasing content that authentically and respectfully reflects the diversity of millions of players.

In The Sims 4 In Love, Sims not only explore the new game world of Ciudad Enamorada, but also the world of online dating thanks to the new app, “Cupid’s Corner”: Players create dating profiles for their Sims, including charming selfies, find the perfect match and plan exciting dates.
To do this, they use the new date planning system, which allows romantic dates to be customized down to the smallest detail. From the meeting point for the date to activities during the meeting to the question of whether other Sims should come along for moral support – or for the drama. And with the new romantic blanket in your luggage, special moments are guaranteed.
