Marvel Rivals is a new superhero team-based PVP shooter where players can assemble an ever-evolving all-star team of Super Heroes and Super Villains who battle with unique powers across a dynamic series of destructible maps from the Marvel Multiverse.
The game invites you to a captivating story set in the Marvel Universe, where heroes and villains unite against an impending cosmic threat.
The new story trailer showcased the rich, captivating storyline and hinted at key twists that players will uncover as they progress through the game.
The closed beta for Marvel Rivals runs now through August 5th for all platforms, including PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, and features full cross-play between regions.
During a special presentation for Marvel Games, it was revealed that both Thor and Jeff the Land Shark will join the closed beta as playable characters on July 27th.
Thor, the God of Thunder, brings his mighty hammer and lightning abilities, while Jeff, the land shark, brings his own charm and ferocity to the game.
Additionally, the Marvel Rivals team has unveiled its music and voice acting teams. The music team includes industry veterans such as Shota Nakama, founder of the Video Games Orchestra, and legendary guitarist Godspeed.
The star cast includes Cassandra Lee Morris (Morgana from Persona 5) as Galacta, Troy Baker as Loki, Nolan North as Rocket Racoon, Yuri Lowenthal as Spider-Man and Mara Junot as Storm.
