It wasn’t just superheroes at San Diego Comic-Con, serial killer Dexter also took the spotlight. First, a sequel to Dexter: New Blood called Dexter: Resurrection (starring Michael C. Hall) was revealed, and then the upcoming prologue series called Dexter: Original Sin (featuring Michael C. Hall’s voiceover) got a little shine in the form of a small teaser that features a recreation of the franchise’s iconic intro sequence. No release date has been announced yet, however, other than that it will be released “soon” on Paramount+.

Synopsis:
Set in 1991 Miami, Dexter: Original Sin follows Dexter (Patrick Gibson) on his journey from college student to vengeful serial killer. When his bloodthirsty urges can no longer be ignored, Dexter must learn to channel his inner darkness. Under the guidance of his father Harry (Golden Globe winner Christian Slater), he adopts a code designed to help him find and kill people who deserve to be eliminated from society without getting on the radar of law enforcement. This is a particular challenge for young Dexter as he begins a forensic internship with the Miami Metro Police Department.
