There are only two weeks left until the premiere of the comedy action film Borderlands, based on the shooter series of the same name from Gearbox, and the creators of the film published its final trailer.
According to the plot, a criminal with a mysterious past, Lilith, takes on the search for Atlas’ missing daughter, for which she teams up with the mercenary Roland, the demolitionist Tiny Tina, her protector Krieg, the scientist Patricia Tannis, and the robot Claptrap.
Together, the heroes must find and protect a missing girl who holds the key to unimaginable power: “They may hold the fate of the universe in their hands, but they will be fighting for something more valuable: each other.”
The new Borderlands trailer is a minute and a half long and features the main characters, shootouts, a confrontation with a huge monster and some comedy scenes.
In two hours, the trailer received 1.2 thousand likes and 2 thousand dislikes. Fans were disappointed to the core. “This is a mockery of Borderlands fans. It would be better if there was no film adaptation at all than this wretchedness…” — he believes stri06.
The film stars Cate Blanchett (Lilith), Edgar Ramirez (Atlas), Kevin Hart (Roland), Ariana Greenblatt (Tiny Tina), Florian Munteanu (Krieg), Jamie Lee Curtis (Tannis) and Jack Black (Claptrap).
The American premiere of “Borderlands” is scheduled for August 9, and in Russia the film will be shown a day earlier. The director is Eli Roth, known for the films “The Green Inferno”, “The House with a Clock in Its Walls”, “Who’s There” and others.
