Patch 1.13 was released for “Elden Ring” this morning. After the servers were offline for almost three hours, the new content is now available for all platforms.
From Software has released update 1.13 for “Elden Ring”. Among other things, it introduces some PvP-exclusive changes. The main focus here is on balance. The poise damage of normal attacks for some weapons is now increased, as is that for attacks with two swords.
Corrections have also been made to the skills. The follow-up attack with Wild Lion Claw is now easier to hit. The damage animation of the first attack against other players has been reduced. The Knight’s Lightning Spear now does more damage with the first hit, but less damage with subsequent hits.
General adjustments in Elden Ring
However, changes were not only made to PvP combat. In order to match the current success of “Elden Ring”, general balance adjustments were also made. These include, above all, increases in the values and stats of some of the most important NPCs that can be summoned in certain areas.
The adjustments affect Needle Knight Leda, Sir Ansbach and Thiollier. The attack power and damage negation of summoned spirits is now increased. This change takes effect when the Ash Blessing is at level five or higher or the spirits are upgraded to +8 or higher. The Imitator Tear is excluded from these changes.
Changes have also been made to some of the weapons that players can find in the world of Elden Ring. For example, From Software has increased the attack power scaling when upgrading the Repeater Crossbow, Spreader Crossbow, and Vessel Cannon. Several other weapons are intended to offer a better gaming experience through similar adjustments.
The skills, summons and some spells have also been revised. Increased attack power makes many skills more effective. Almost all spirit ashes have been changed. From now on, they stagger much less easily. However, the imitator’s tear is again excluded here.
