Fans of horror films can already look back on a jam-packed year full of highlights. After Lisa Frankenstein with Marvel star Kathryn Newton, Immaculate with Sydney Sweeney and Abigall, another special project has been launched, In a Violent Nature, which not only relies on brutality but is also filmed from the killer’s perspective – an idea that has been well received by critics.
This is how the horror film is currently Rotten Tomatoes at 78%. The audience, however, is not quite so enthusiastic at the moment. Here, In a Violent Nature is currently at only 44%. In Germany, interested parties will have to wait a little longer. So far, the film can only be seen via VPN provider streamed. In a Violent Nature should be available in Germany by the end of the year at the latest. And it’s about time, because the sequel is already on the way!
When is In a Violent Nature 2 coming out?
At the San Diego Comic-Con 2024, Shudder and IFC Films revealed that a sequel to In a Violent Nature is in production. Too many details are not yet known, but Chris Nash – director and writer of part 1 – will again be responsible for the script for the sequel. It is still unclear when we can expect In a Violent Nature 2. But the makers have at least shared a teaser poster with fans.

Who is in the cast of In a Violent Nature?
The main role of the killer Johnny from In a Violent Nature was played by actor Ry Barrett. Andrea Pavlovic, Cameron Love, Lea Rose Sebastianis and Reece Presley are also part of the film’s cast. Because no information about the story of the sequel is currently known, we don’t yet know whether Johnny will be used as a killer again in part 2.
