There are many game publishers and developers out there who have managed to achieve success by exploiting only one or two of their flagship franchises, and then stop creating new titles or their old franchises that are sleeping. Fortunately, after the massive success they achieved from one Souls game and Souls-like that they made, From Software still gave Armored Core a chance to find its space again. Coming with modern visuals, a cool story, and the same tight gameplay, it also ended up reaping success in terms of sales.
Bandai Namco and From Software are proud to announce that Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon has sold over 3 million copies, accumulated from physical and digital versions, across platforms. This figure is an increase of around 200 thousand copies from the last data – 2.8 million copies in October 2023. The sale of 3 million copies also confirms Armored Core VI’s status as the best-selling Armored Core game of all time, where the last series Armored Core V is believed to have only sold around 400,000 copies globally.
