If you forgot that the Sausage Party series landed on Prime Video earlier this month, you probably weren’t the only person, as Amazon and Prime Video did very little to remind fans that the series was coming. While this may have signaled a lack of faith in the project, this is clearly not the case, as Prime Video has already decided that there needs to be more Sausage Party: Foodtopia in the world following its arrival a few weeks ago.
As part of the San Diego Comic-Con, a second season of the series green light which means that in the near future the animated foods will once again adopt a debauched and wild lifestyle while continuing to try to survive in the human world.
There is no word yet on when the second season will be released, but considering how recent this news is, it could be released next year or as late as 2026.
