We don’t know yet how exactly this mechanic will work.
Honkai Star Rail plans to add pets, reports Insider Pale. It looks like pets will appear in update 2.5: beta testing of this patch has just begun.
According to the insider, there will be several pets. As an example, Blednaya showed a creature that resembles a mix of a pig and an anteater – and, apparently, borrowed a piece of armor from an armadillo.
Pets are said to have a separate interface tab, but their mechanics are not disclosed. We don’t yet know whether pets will be able to follow the character around the game world, for example.
Update 2.5 for Honkai Star Rail will be released in September 2024.
