After five years in development and amid growing fan excitement, the massive Fallout: London modification for the role-playing shooter Fallout 4 is now closer than ever to release.
Let’s recall that the ambitious project of The Folon Team was supposed to be released on April 23, but due to the release of the “next generation” update for Fallout 4 on the 25th, the mod was postponed indefinitely.
Fallout: London is coming in June appeared new (internal) release date. In early July, the modification went to GOG specialists for final checks, and last week received They gave the green light – the release was just around the corner.
On the afternoon of July 24, Fallout: London lead developer Dean Carter intrigued the team’s Discord community publication links to the song “I Can’t Wait (For Tomorrow)” from the mod’s soundtrack.
In an interview with the portal Inverse Carter confirmed what the teaser meant: Fallout: London will be released on July 25, “barring a nuclear apocalypse.”
The addon-sized mod will take place in London in the year 2237. It promises unique factions and storylines, weapons, creatures, Baldur’s Gate 3 star Neil Newbon, and a voice acting role from the former Speaker of the House of Commons.
Fallout: London will be released without compatibility with the current version of Fallout 4 and, due to its size (30-40 GB), will be placed on GOG. Thanks to the built-in “downgrader”, the mod will also be available to owners of the Steam version of the game.
