Grzegorz Styczen, the author of the popular medieval strategy game Manor Lords, continues to slowly develop the early access version of the game. He expressed his approach on Twitter with a modified proverb: “One quality of life feature per day to avoid negative reviews?”
Stychen illustrated the new upcoming feature that improves the quality of life in Manor Lords with a screenshot. It shows a dyer’s workshop with new settings windows. They allow you to set how many berries the workshop can use and how much dye it should produce per day.
The ability to regulate production volumes is a feature that players have long been asking for. With automatic parameters, they are constantly faced with the need to import, or with a crisis of overproduction. Just remember the early problems with the sheep population, which in a few years filled all available pastures.
So far, the author of Manor Lords has not said when exactly the feature will appear in the game. It will probably be part of an expected large-scale update that should add new portraits, fishing spots, shooters with crossbows and much more. At the same time, it will transfer the game to the latest version of Unreal Engine 5.
In the meantime, it’s happening on Steam sale publisher Hooded Horse, and as part of it, Manor Lords has dropped in price by 25%. Until August 6, it can be purchased for 1124 rubles.
