Razer decided simplify gamers a mouse control tailored to their individual needs and preferred genres. Mouse Rotation and Dynamic Sensitivity have been added to the proprietary Synapse application and are now available on the Razer Viper V3 Pro and Razer DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed eSports mice.
The Mouse Rotation feature allows you to adjust the angle of the input signal from the mouse sensor to best match your setup and individual grip. This is useful for those players who move horizontally with a natural tilt, or for those who have a special way of positioning the mouse. Now, in the Razer Synapse app, you can adjust the tilt value for horizontal movement — it no longer has to be strictly horizontal.
Dynamic Sensitivity is the ability to adapt the mouse sensitivity to the game’s features. The application allows you to choose one of three preset profiles – Classic, Natural and Jump – or create your own. Classic assumes a linear increase in sensitivity, as is usually set in Windows.
Natural and Jump will be useful for shooter fans in different game scenarios. Natural is adapted for FPS in arenas where fast movements for a wide field of view are required, and a low DPI is less in demand.
The Jump profile is useful in tactical FPS games, where enemies are more predictable, but a low DPI is needed for precise aiming: as a result, a sharp movement results in a sharp 180° turn, but the advantage of a low DPI when aiming is preserved. As a result, players are freed from the need to manually switch the mouse sensitivity at critical moments.
The new features are only available on the Razer Viper V3 Pro and DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed mice. To take advantage of them, you’ll need to update to the latest version of Razer Synapse and firmware on both devices.
