Games Workshop in its financial report toldthat the series on the Warhammer 40,000 universe with Henry Cavill may not come out at all. The thing is, the franchise owner has to agree on “creative guidelines” with Amazon by December 2024. Apparently, there are problems with this now.
The two companies must come to an agreement on various creative ideas. Games Workshop has promised to keep fans informed “accordingly.” There are only five months left to resolve all contentious issues. If this does not happen, the TV adaptation may be put on the back burner.
Let us recall that this winter Henry Cavill spoke about the successes in creating the film adaptation. Allegedly, big events took place among the creators of the series, which in a good sense excited the entire creative team. Perhaps the actor did not know at all about the “friction” between Games Workshop and Amazon.
If we talk about games in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, things are much better with them. On September 9, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. The developers recently showed off an extensive arsenal.
