Creepy Jar has announced that it will be bringing open-world survival game Green Hell to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game will launch on these platforms on August 14, 2024, for $24.99, including a 20% launch discount. Owners of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will be able to get a free upgrade.
Green Hell will officially end support on last-gen consoles as Creepy Jar shifts its focus to new platforms. The game will continue to run on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but will no longer receive updates. According to the developers, this is because older consoles are unable to handle the volume of new updates and still provide the quality that players deserve.
The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S version of Green Hell will include all previously released PC updates, including those not available on previous-gen consoles.
