Directed by James Gunn finished filming of “Superman”, the first major movie in the new DC cinematic universe. Work on the film stretched out over several months: filming began in early March.

Gunn also posted a photo from the set of Superman: the film was shot for some time in Norway.
Superman will retell the origin story of Superman, one of the most famous heroes in the DC Universe. At the same time, the film will tease many characters and superheroes that will appear in other parts of the franchise.
Superman is set to premiere on July 11, 2025.
