The coming week will be eventful for players of “Helldivers 2”. In addition to the most extensive update to date, there will also be the next expansion with new content.
The expansion for “Helldivers 2” is called “Freedom’s Flame” and adds new weapons and equipment, among other things. It will be released on August 8th and is now being presented to us with a one-minute trailer.
In the sequel to the acclaimed top-down shooter from 2015, up to four eponymous Helldivers go into battle against the threat of alien invaders on Super Earth. From a third-person perspective, players use a variety of weapons and tactical equipment to take down their opponents.
“Helldivers 2” also offers a crossplay function. This means that players of the PS5 version can play together with PC users – and vice versa. The community and teamwork are the most important pillars of the game, so it was important to the team at Arrowhead Game Studios that people can come together regardless of the system.
“Helldivers 2” was released on February 8th for PS5 and PC.
