Exploring the worlds of Star Wars Outlaws is more organic in Explorer mode, without visual aids and highlight colors.
Where do we actually go now? To ensure that players don’t have to ask themselves this question in open or complex areas of a game, developers usually use yellow to make navigation easier. It is applied to the environments or elements and indicates that this is where the path continues.
In Star Wars Outlaws, however, you don’t necessarily have to follow this navigation. In Explorer mode, the “guiding color for central navigation elements” can be turned off, as Ubisoft wrote to PC Gamer.
Anyone who wants to can move through play areas much more organically, without being guided by a “guidance system”.
Star Wars Outlaws will be available for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC on August 30th.
