There has never been a better time for Game of Thrones fans. The controversial finale of the main series was a few years ago. But there is no shortage of new content: Season 2 of House of the Dragon is currently captivating viewers. Filming for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is also in full swing, and another series is in preparation. As if that weren’t enough reasons to be happy, there is now even a surprising comeback – Jon Snow is back.
What’s next for Game of Thrones?
The grand finale of season 2 of House of the Dragon is coming up soon, and there will certainly be plenty of dragons in action again. But fans don’t have to be sad, preparations for the third season are already underway. But that’s not all: According to author George RR Martin, the spin-off series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will debut in early 2025, but official confirmation from Warner Bros. and HBO is still pending.
Furthermore, there has been a persistent rumor going around for some time about a series that revolves around Aegon I Targaryen, who was the first to sit on the Iron Throne and conquered almost all of Westeros. The planned spin-off about fan favorite Jon Snow, however, has unfortunately been put on hold. Nevertheless, this character is now celebrating his surprising comeback in Game of Thrones.

However, fans may have imagined the return of Jon Snow alias Aegon Targaryen a little differently. It is not the much-awaited revival of the spin-off series, but an appearance in the just released mobile game Game of Thrones: Legends from Zynga.
