EA Sports FC competitor UFL will soon be starting another open beta test phase. You can find out when it starts in this message!
With EA Sports FC 25, the top dog in the football game genre for PC and consoles from Electronic Arts is back this year, but with UFL, a new competitor has emerged that wants to take on the long-running favorite. Can it succeed? You can now see for yourself with another open beta test phase.
XTEN Limited and Strikerz Inc. have announced a second open beta weekend for the upcoming free-to-play title UFL. This is imminent and is scheduled to take place between August 2 and 4, 2024. The game can be played on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, and anyone who is interested can join in.
In contrast to the previous open beta, the developers promise new in-game features as well as a “qualitative improvement of over 80 percent”. The feedback from players in the first beta was also taken into account.
“It’s satisfying to see that we’re on the same wavelength as our community,” said the CEO of Strikerz Inc. on the occasion of the announcement of the new beta. “We can’t wait to show you how far we’ve come since the first beta with this new version of the game as we approach launch.”
This beta also lets you compete against other players around the world in online mode. There is also an offline option for local matches, both solo and multiplayer.
The first beta was a success, with more than 1.3 million players already installing UFL on their consoles. More than 5.5 million games were played during the last beta weekend.
