Those who play the Visions of Mana demo get access to three weapons in the main game.
As we previously reported, Square Enix has released a playable demo for the action RPG Visions of Mana, the first new main installment in the popular Mana series in 15 years.
Players can try the demo now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Microsoft Store and STEAM) to get a taste of what the game has to offer them starting August 29th.
In the demo, players begin their journey in the middle of Chapter 1, in an area called Crystal Rapids. From there, they explore other areas, such as the Fallow Steppe and the port village of Rhata.
Those who want a challenge can take on the final boss of the chapter, the giant octopus. The group of adventurers consists of Val, Carina and Morley, who invite you to experiment with the various wind and moon classes.
The demo’s content has been curated to provide a more diverse gameplay experience, so save data from the demo will not carry over to the full game. However, those with the demo save data who purchase Visions of Mana will receive three weapons for Val – Gladius, Falx, and Hornlance – when starting a new game in the full game and reaching Chapter 1.
The Falx and Hornlance weapons can be equipped once Val’s class is changed to the Wind class (Falx) and Moon class (Hornlance). The Gladius weapon can be equipped once Val is playable in Chapter 1. These bonus items are also available through normal gameplay. However, save data from the demo must be present on the system to claim these demo bonus weapons.
Visions of Mana will be released on August 29, 2024 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, and Steam.
