The AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor on Zen 5, cooled by a liquid cooling system, has broken through to fifth place in the top of the most powerful processors according to 3DMark Time Spy Extreme with 29102 points. At the same time, the entire top 10 was initially occupied by multi-core monsters from the Intel Xeon and AMD Threadripper series, which were also cooled with water or even liquid nitrogen.
The closest “regular” processor is the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, which scores just under 20,000 points in this test, and right behind it with ~19,000 is the Intel Core i9-14900KS under liquid nitrogen at 7600 MHz.
