AMD partners have already begun actively preparing for the release of Strix Halo processors. In particular, ASUS plans to use this platform in the new ROG Flow Z13 2025 gaming tablet. The release of the device is scheduled for next year, which is additionally reflected in its name.
For the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 2025, the company is developing a new cooling system. It will be based on a large evaporation chamber that contacts the AMD Strix Halo processor itself, LPDDR5X memory chips, and power supply elements. Heat dissipation will be provided by two sections of plates and a pair of fans.

The new ROG Flow Z13 is planned to use a 110-watt version of the Strix Halo APU (30 W for the CPU and 80 W for the GPU block). These parameters, apparently, AMD partners will be able to configure depending on the specific device. The chipmaker itself is preparing at least three separate Strix Halo configurations: with 55-, 85-, and 120-watt TDP levels.
As for the timing of the announcement of the new ASUS ROG Flow Z13, it will probably be presented immediately after the official presentation of the Strix Halo APU. Preliminary specifications of these processors are given at the link.
