An ASUS engineer who worked on the cooling system for the new ASUS ROG Flow Z13 (2025) tablet shared information about the upcoming device. Thus, we were told that inside this solution you can find an AMD Ryzen APU from the Strix Halo family.
Let’s remember that this is the family of processors that will receive integrated graphics with 40 RDNA 3.5 computing units. This should make this tablet a faster gaming device than all current-generation consoles. We were also shown a block diagram of the Strix Halo processor with two processor chiplets and a giant integrated graphics chiplet.
We also learned about the TDP of this processor, which will reach 115 W, taking into account the consumption of RAM. Separately, the processor cores will be able to consume up to 35 W, and the graphics will need up to 80 W.
The release dates for the new ASUS ROG Flow Z13 tablet are still unknown, but it is likely that we will hear about the new product at the very beginning of 2025.
