Creators of the medieval action game Chivalry 2 released an appeal where they announced the end of support for their creation.
They admitted that they wanted to create a unique multiplayer game that would be inspired by history and classic knight movies. And they achieved their goal.
The developers reminded that after the release of Chivalry 2 they promised to provide extensive support for the action game with new maps, weapons, modes and other features – they fulfilled their promises.
As evidence, the authors attached a “road map” of updates for the game, where they listed all the innovations that were included after the release. Support for the game lasted for more than three years.
The developers are proud of their achievements, especially the expansion of the list of maps with team objectives (from 5 to 13). The last major update (the 11th) was Regicide, which was released in May.
At the same time, Chivalry 2 itself will continue to be supported with technical improvements, but you shouldn’t expect any new content.
The developers are currently focused on creating a new game in the same universe, and they are also working on the cooperative shooter No More Room in Hell 2. No release dates have been announced yet, but the authors noted that they have expanded their team and learned a number of new skills.
Finally, the creators thanked the fans who supported them all this time. By the way, from July 16, Amazon Prime subscribers can take the game in EGS.
