“Planet Coaster 2” is presented in an extensive deep-dive video that provides a comprehensive introduction to the new features and tools.
Fans of management simulations can hardly ignore Frontier Developments. The British studio based in Cambridge has produced numerous representatives of this genre in recent years. These include “Planet Coaster”, which will have a second part in the autumn.
“Planet Coaster 2” was announced in mid-July. The successor to the title released in 2016 for PC and in 2020 for consoles is expected to feature new attractions and other innovations. A deep-dive video is now available, which, at around 15 minutes long, allows you to delve quite deeply into the game.
The gameplay deep dive into “Planet Coaster 2” is dedicated to the comprehensive creation toolset and shows how players can design their dream theme park.
Instead of just focusing on roller coasters, as was the case in the first part, this time there are also water parks, slides, pools and various attractions on the program. Players have complete control over how they want to use these attractions in their parks.
The basic game mechanics have been retained, so fans will immediately feel at home. Nevertheless, Frontier Developments promises numerous improvements for “Planet Coaster 2” that will make the title stand out from its predecessor.

With another video, Frontier wants to provide even more insight into the creation tools and other features of the game. So it remains to be seen what the developer will reveal in “Deep Dive 2”.
Release in autumn and first part regularly on sale
“Planet Coaster 2” is set to be released this fall for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Frontier Developments has not yet revealed an exact date. Fans can download the title from the PlayStation Store already put on the wish list. Pre-orders are not possible yet.

The first part is part of the PS Plus extra offer, but can also be purchased for 44.99 euros. It’s worth waiting for a sale here. Until this morning, “Planet Coaster” was on offer for 8.99 euros. In April, the price even dropped to 4.49 euros. The next price reduction is expected in August or September.
