GSC Game World Company announced about its participation in the Gamescom 2024 gaming exhibition, where a new demo version of the long-awaited game STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be presented. It is mentioned that the demo will be in the public area. This probably means that everyone will be able to play STALKER 2. Last year, GSC Game World already demonstrated a demo of the game at the same exhibition, but in a closed mode for the press.
Gamescom 2024 will take place from August 21 to 25 in Cologne, Germany. We will probably expect an avalanche of new information about the project after that. Before the exhibition, a video demonstrating the gameplay will be presented on August 12.
The game itself has recently been postponed once again. If STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl was previously promised to be released on September 5, now the release is announced for November 20. This postponement is called the last and final.
