The Fast & Furious action series remains one of the most successful Hollywood franchises of all time. It has been the subject of increasing criticism in the recent past, and the latest film Fast X did not do quite as spectacularly at the box office as most of its predecessors. Nevertheless, the big-screen adventures with the high-horsepower cars are still very popular today. The films have earned several billion dollars in total. Preparations are currently in full swing for Fast & Furious 11, which will apparently make a surprising comeback.
When will Fast & Furious 11 be in theaters?
Fans will have to be patient a little longer before action icon Vin Diesel slips back into his signature role as Dominic Toretto and sets the asphalt ablaze. The film, which was actually planned as a direct sequel to Fast X, will, as is typical for the series, boast a whole host of Hollywood stars. Appearances by Jason Statham (The Transporter), Michelle Rodriguez (World Invasion) and Jason Momoa (Aquaman) have already been confirmed. Dwayne Johnson, who was previously Vin Diesel’s enemy, also seems to be returning as Hobbs.
The theatrical release was originally planned for next year, but unfortunately that won’t happen. Although the first image of Fast & Furious 11 was recently released, the start of filming has been delayed. This means that the new film will not hit the big screen until 2026 – then probably with a sensational comeback.

Actor Vin Diesel is known for not only advertising his current projects on his social media channels. He also likes to use the platforms to spread more or less direct hints and thus fuel the rumor mill. That is exactly what happened again recently, a recent picture in his Instagram account causes a stir.
