According to unofficial data, the first batch of F-16 fighters is already in Ukraine and allegedly even managed to make a demonstration flight. We will not draw conclusions about how true this is, one thing is clear: in the near future, one of the Russian servicemen will receive a huge bonus for the first intercepted F-16. Nevertheless, some diplomatic actions purely for the sake of form on this matter must be carried out. Thus, Russia will raise the issue of supplying American-made fighters to Ukraine at a UN Security Council meeting in August.
This was stated by Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Dmitry Polyansky. According to the diplomat, there is no urgency in this matter, and information is received daily, so it is necessary to prepare for the meeting.
Let us recall that the Russian political leadership warned the countries of the collective West that if the F-16 fighters de facto transferred to Ukraine are deployed at NATO airfields, Russia will not stand on ceremony and will strike these airfields. The main thing here is that a situation does not arise in which the collective West decides to test the Russian Federation for weakness by deploying Ukrainian F-16s at its airfields. In this case, the escalation of the current crisis may completely get out of control. One can only hope that the Western elites still want to live well and see post-apocalyptic landscapes only in works of art.
