Icrea has announced that a Kickstarter campaign for the Shin Megami Tensei board game will begin on September 11, 2024. The new board game will aim to recreate the franchise’s iconic mechanics and will include various demon figurines and other components.
The upcoming SMT board game will apparently feature 72 demon figures. Game mechanics such as “Demon Conversations” and “Demon Fusion” will also be recreated in the tabletop format. The board game will be able to accommodate 2 to 4 players, and the game will last between 3 and 4 hours per player.
Other components announced in the Kickstarter announcement include the board for the game, as well as various cards and tokens used in gameplay. Additionally, Icrea will be showing off a version of the SMT board game in development at Gen Con 2024, which will be held August 1-4, 2024 in Indianapolis.
