Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown is set to be released in September 2024, and with its release, publisher Nacon intends to compete with other popular arcade racing games such as Forza Horizon 5 and The Crew Motorfest. Players have previously been able to try out Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown as part of a demo, and reviews of the project have been mixed. However, the game is selling well right now.
Publisher Nacon reported that Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown set a record for the company in pre-orders in its entire history. The exact figures are not disclosed, the publisher only thanked all players for their trust. The developers promise to actively support Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown with new content after the release.
It is worth mentioning that the previous record for pre-orders at Nacon was held by RoboCop: Rogue City. The numbers were not specified either, but after the shooter’s release it became known that over 475,000 people played it in the first 2 weeks, and the game thus showed the best start in Nacon’s history.
Let us recall that earlier comparisons of Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown with Forza Horizon 5 in terms of graphics, physics, sound and other components appeared online.
